Happy Monday Neergs!

Hope everybody had a great weekend. October is a big month for us at GKR.  Stay tuned because we have some really cool interviews lined up, not to mention our big contest we launched end of September.  I am particularly excited about this contest, because it gives you an incentive to learn about something that is having a terrible impact on our environment...plastics! Plastic Pollution---with two capital P"s- is destroying our oceans and may likely be entering our food web.  To understand why plastics are so damaging, our partners at Earth Day Coalition helped us develop a contest that makes you smart. That's right. You will actually learn something as a result. It's not difficult and there are no right or wrong answers.  You just have to do the experiment, and it's fun! You will be amazed at the properties and resiliency of plastic...and if you're like me, it will make you think twice before you buy anything in a plastic bottle or accept a plastic bag at the store.

The best part of all is that you have a chance to win Neerg Hall T-shirts for your entire class. If for example, there are 30 kids in your class, and you do the experiment together, you can all fill out an entry individually. That gives your class 30 chances to win Neerg Hall T-shirts. Catch my drift? And when you fill out the entry form, you get a chance to win an ereader for yourself.  Check out the contest info here on GKR or at our Neerg Hall Join Now page.   You do have to open an account to enter, but don't worry, you don't have to buy anything. Besides we'll send you cool alerts when new contests and breaking news occur! So jump on it right away. The deadline is December 10th! Have a question, email us at admin@greenkidsrock.com.  Want more inspiration, check out the  Project Kaise Video that inspired the contest here.

Peace Out--Ethan
