This cool site was created by our friends Esben and Karsten in Copenhagen. We like the counters that track our growing population, waste dumped, plastic bags used and  plastic dumped into our oceans (and more!).

I actually did this at my school.  I did a report on Park School and got my entire 3rd grade class excited about cancelling catalogs.

Properties of Plastics Study and Contest

This cool research study & contest was developed by our friens at Earth Day Coalition. Kids have a chance to win Neerg Hall T-shirts for their whole class, or an e-reader for themselves. Contest window opens 9/18/2010. www.NeergHall.com

Check out this movie trailer! You can actually sign-up for an educational screening for your school. This is very timely, considering the recent defeat of the Plastic Bag Ban in California.

Single-use plastics and disposable

plastics are some of the greatest

sources of of plastic pollution. Designed

to be discarded, these objects offer a

 small convenience but remain forever.

Cool fundraiser that advocates for use of stainless steel bottles in lieu of plastic bottles that often are not recycled!

Here are three different websites featuring canvas bag fundraisers.  This is a great way to encourage the use of canvas bags while raising funds for your school. Know of other good fundraisers? Email us!
